i still haven’t managed to take any real shots of it, but i just set A Shot in the Dark to public on blurb for anyone to see or buy! you can click the link to go check it out!
in others news… i have some huuge news to tell soon once I know everything has been worked out! that, and a 35mm 1.4 will soon be mine too! seriously can’t wait, lens envy was too green of a monster for me to wait any longer. go figure!
considering the lack of [actual camera] photos I’ve been able to take lately with school being such madness, i figured i’d share a few instagram favorites from the past while!
on the updates side i just booked yet another wedding for next year! annnd… after the local paper the western star ran this feature with dru a few weeks ago, its apparently my turn now and I have a full-page feature coming out on this tuesday the 20th! the only thing left now is for my print course to finish up and then i can finally start to appreciate christmas break. and time to catch up on sleep!
considering how my blog is only about a year and a half old, and considering how its only been facebook public for about a month or two the fact that it’s just hit ten thousand views is crazy to me!
there’s been such an explosion of support, subscriptions, comments, and views (and even a fair amount of people who have mentioned to me in person how they’ve had a look around) that i have to say a HUGE thanks! it can definitely be discouraging sometimes with trying to keep constantly producing new work and being pleased with it, but it’s all a learning process and at the end of the day i’m definitely happy with where I am with everything right now.
so that being said, I hope you keep checking back and by all means have at the comment box too! getting feedback here is the best!
so i logged into bloglovin and tumblr this morning to check out some of the new submissions on some sites and blogs that I follow, and saw my photo featured here on Things Organized Neatly with over 920 likes or reposts so far! definitely cool, so check out the tumblr too – the OCD in me pretty much dies for it.
and now i have to stop procrastinating and get back at my homework. and by get back at, i mean start. so far, todays progress includes… making breakfast and doing the dishes. right.
