the countdown is over, and the ability to breathe, sleep, and eat regularly has returned.
it is the best feeling ever, and i am THE happiest.
mountains and mountains of love!

i am a blessed kid this week! after celebrating the end of classes annd two years together (whoa), dru gave me flowers on friday and I haven’t stopped staring at them since. seriously though, they’ve opened so pretty! i couldn’t help but grab my camera and take a few shots of them today.
and in thinking about it, i actually don’t remember the last time i took my camera out for myself! so nice.
much love!

as a chronic, i cannot get out of bed pre 9:00, no matter how many alarms i set, unless its for something super interesting, therefore not for class, in most cases, even though i wake up and feel reallyreally bad it won’t ever change, again unless its for work or something, today is epic.
today is the last monday morning in which i can say on my way out the door “i have class.” realizing this is just as much a present as the rest of it.
frigging WICKED.
much love,

this is the second last part of the grad catalogue series! funny how what has kept me busy for the entire month of february has made all the difference for my whole term, and for what I picked out for my graduation show too. speaking off… the grad show pieces got delivered yesterday! SUCH a relief.
back to… applications, work, and essays up to my eyeballs. 12 days to go!
much love,
candace
a few favorites from a roll of film i’ve had in my camera for a few months now! dru actually just bought a scanner, so now we’ll be able to have all of our negatives uploaded and in a much better quality than the discs we’ve been getting from walmart. much better!
on another note… my fourth year project has been ordered!
(panic totally ensued typing that).
but seriously, that’s it, that’s all, its done, and there’s no making changes now. such a weird feeling! i just need to stop second guessing choices in the mean time. it was hard to narrow down what i’ve been up to and i would never be able to include everything that i would like (i’m a bit nonstalgic for shake face right now) but my teachers and few friends i’ve had to get opinions from have been supportive of what has been put together. so, i think i’m going to be really happy with it! only 29 days until the show, and the days to no more classes count… 16!
hope everyone’s having a good week!
much love,

my grad photo time had to come too, and luckily it was painless! dru was awesome enough to shoot it for me yesterday and it ended up turning out to be quite a sunday.
first i had breakfast cooked for me, then we packed up to spend the day in gros morne for a photo drive, then i was proud of myself for remembering to bring rubber boots considering it was raining, then i realized said rubber boots were actually two different sizes but its no big deal because my right foot just enjoyed the dry extra room. then we drove home to cooked dinner and then thoroughly enjoyed a new episode of the walking dead to which i passed out cold before it ended. did i just admit that? sorry darryl. i’ll drool over you later this week, promise!
apart from some tire bustage, yesterday was seriously the best though. and as someone who would rather remove limbs than have her photo taken, i kind of maybe sort of love this photo (just a liiiiiiittle bit) because while i doubt many people will notice, it was taken as far from school as possible ; ) and on such a great day!
and for GRAD.
as in graduation.
in case you didn’t know yet.
(except that you did.)
much love,
candace
