i’ve kept trying my hand at double exposures and have really loved these last two!
normally with film, the double exposures have been of one certain image and then overlaid with a completely different image in a completely different setting. with these being digital, they were shot similarly and with the same lighting as well. the second one is even two very similar shots of the one rose, just in slightly different positions which i found wound up being pretty ghostly. thoughts?

i am a blessed kid this week! after celebrating the end of classes annd two years together (whoa), dru gave me flowers on friday and I haven’t stopped staring at them since. seriously though, they’ve opened so pretty! i couldn’t help but grab my camera and take a few shots of them today.
and in thinking about it, i actually don’t remember the last time i took my camera out for myself! so nice.

so vaughn’s lying on a newfoundland flag, the brown thing underneath the flag is a beaver pelt, and his salt and pepper hat is lying close by. so no, this really could not have gotten any more newfoundland.
therefore, i had a solid laugh yesterday when i stumbled across this photo. i feel like he’s punching it and saying “newfoundland… represent.” even his little face looks so serious!
babies. hilarity!

i have a serious case of the tiredness tonight. its essentially going like this – computer opens… eyes shut. not the best case scenario but maybe just giving up and sleeping will be for the best!

as a chronic, i cannot get out of bed pre 9:00, no matter how many alarms i set, unless its for something super interesting, therefore not for class, in most cases, even though i wake up and feel reallyreally bad it won’t ever change, again unless its for work or something, today is epic.
today is the last monday morning in which i can say on my way out the door “i have class.” realizing this is just as much a present as the rest of it.
frigging WICKED.

sadly, dru and epic hair + shake-faces are coming to an end. but, the short hair is a welcome change and he’ll look awesome either way!
in other news… i may have slept in (i did) and unintentionally (honest) shaved my 6th last day of class completely off the map. (bad student. sorry pierre!)
seriously though, only 5 more days of driving back and forth to school say WHAT. and tomorrow is a holiday. and the sun is shining! the best.
